Pharmacy Advance Workshop

Is a business development workshop designed for Pharmacists with more than 1 year experience in Community Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technicians or other staff currently in, or intending to be in management roles in the future, and those wanting to gain key pharmacy business insight to better drive decision making for their place of employment. 

Key topics covered

- The pharmaceutical supply chain.
- The basics of Pharmacy Operation.
- The Funding Model and Mastering the Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) Contract.
- Understanding purchase price of medicines.
- PHARMAC and its impact on Pharmacy purchasing decisions.

How does it work?

The workshop is held in person at our location in Highbrook Auckland, or from the comfort of your home via Zoom. The workshop runs from 9am to 3pm and will be hosted by Business Strategist and Coach Firas Mudafar.

Our Coaching Process

1. Initial

Full day

We start by spending the whole day working together, creating a functional business strategy tailored to  your business, taking into consideration your personal and business goals.

2. Monthly follow up

One hour

We meet monthly to provide you with the required support and mentoring.  Collectively we work through challenges arising and find ways forward.

How it works

How do you secure pre-approval for an increased mortgage based on the estimated sales price of your original home? How do you arrange bridging finance to cover the period between the purchase of your new home and the sale of your old one?

Next home buyers can get themselves into strife if they’re not fully prepared. Having us in your corner will mean you know exactly what you’re getting yourself into, guaranteeing a smooth move from your first home to your next one.

3. Quarterly transition

Two hours

At the point you feel ready, we transition to quarterly meetings. We monitor your development against your goals and together, we discuss the next key tasks to be undertaken. We tweak the approach as necessary to ensure you are moving in the desired direction.

Prosper - Quarterly strategy session

How it works

We usually get the ball rolling over a cool drink, where we’ll answer all your investment-related questions. We’ll then go away and find the right bank for your new mortgage, provide advice on tax obligations, and basically set you the right track for success.   

We’ll make sure there are no hiccups by staying up to date with laws and regulations changes, so that your climb on the property ladder is a safe one.
